Holidays are a time to think of family -- not just your own family, but the ones in your community. This holiday season Creative Living asks you to join our annual friends’ membership appeal. Your donation supports vibrant programs for young adults and adults with developmental disabilities, and provides respite for families, all year long.
You assist young men like John, who moved recently, and needed to form new connections in an unfamiliar community. Through programs like Friday Night Out, Creative Living’s social program for young adults, John has met new friends, a daunting endeavor for anyone new to a community, but especially for someone with developmental disabilities. He’s discovered the cultural, educational and natural resources the area has to offer during Creative Living Camp. During GetAway Weekends, John has enjoyed a mini-vacation (all while building his independent living skills) and his family has gained respite to attend to all the details that a move brings.
Every family has its own story about how Creative Living has touched their lives. They are the Creative Living family, and just as your family grows and changes, Creative Living evolves to meet the needs of those we serve. This year Creative Living added Vacation Break Camps, Spanish-language Escapadas weekends, became recognized as a DDS provider, and created new partnerships with NuPath, Fidelity House, and the Newburyport Public Schools. We can’t do this without our donors. We can’t do this without you.
Can we count on you to donate to the Annual Friends Membership Appeal?
