TOPS for Boys, an overnight program for kids with autism at Creative Living Andover

TOPs Overnights is a collaboration between Creative Living and the Andover/North Andover TOPs program to teach independent living skills, build confidence, grow friendships and have FUN!

Overnights take place every month during the school year, alternating each month between boys and girls overnights.

"I am so glad we heard about Creative Living because it gave us the chance to give our son an opportunity to be like other kids without having to worry about him being safe and cared for."

"Creative Living gives my child the opportunity to learn new skills. She used to be waited on all the time, now she picks up after herself and even helps me in the kitchen."

The goal of the Life Skills component is to provide students with supplemental practice in the areas of safety skills, managing a household, negotiating relationships with roommates, meal planning and preparation.  The goal of the Leisure Skills component is to assist students in making healthy as well as enjoyable choices, expanding their horizons, developing hobbies and interests.  For more information about the TOPs Overnight program, please contact Patricia Rotundo at: This email address is being protected from spambots.
