GetAway Weekends are Area's Only Weekend Respite Program

The GetAway Weekend program provides respite care for people with developmental disabilities and their families in the Andover community, the Merrimack Valley, Metro Boston and Southern New Hampshire. Creative Living guests gather at our home, giving them a wonderful "weekend" experience of supervised social interaction, while giving their primary caregivers some precious moments of rest and renewal.

American Sign Language Interpreter at Local Church

An American Sign Language Interpreter will be present at St. Michael's Parish in North Andover at every first Saturday during the 4pm Mass, starting March 7. Please share this news with others who may benefit!

Creative Living's After School Program Fosters Social Skills and Engagement

    Thursday afternoons at Creative Living, Creative Living's After School staff is dedicated to working with students to promote the social and life skills of the individual students in the program. Whether it be discussions around the dinner table during a snack to model appropriate behavior at meals, or sharing/taking turns during a game, an activity, or cooking together, the students have many opportunities to practice skills in a "real life" home environment. During the time spent in the program, students continuously improve their social skills by doing these group activities and preparing for real-life situations.
