Parent Consultant Training Institute: June 22-26
The Parent Training and Information Center at the Federation for Children with Special Needs is offering an opportunity for Massachusetts parents and professionals to learn more about the state and federal Special Education laws and process at the Sturbridge Conference Center. The extensive agenda includes speakers from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, distinguished attorneys and other professionals in the field of special education.
AMC Methuen Offers Sensory Friendly Movies -- Jun 27
Pixar's newest movie -- "Inside Out" -- June 27, 10am in Methuen.
The Sensory Friendly Movie program provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. Merrimack Valley Special Needs Resource Fair to held on Saturday, September 12 at Merrimack College. The Fair, now in its third year, is a great place for families seeking resources, activities, and services for themselves or their family members with special needs. 35th Annual Special Field Games -- September 19
The 35th annual Special Field Games is a sporting event for people of all ages with special needs, co-sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Service Club of Andover. The games will once again be held at Northern Essex Community College, Haverhill Campus located at 100 Elliot Street in Haverhill, Mass.
